AIR CUSHIONING, BUILT INTO THE SHOE.
SAM—Shock-Absorbment-Midsole—is the integrated product path for footwear brands and manufacturers.

A different product layer
A midsole,
not an insert.
BTI and SAI can be supplied as finished insoles. SAM moves the Air Cushion Technology platform into the shoe itself, creating a path for deeper product integration.
SAM places the cushioning structure within the footwear build rather than adding a removable insert.
A contained air system is designed to transmit pressure through the chamber in line with Pascal’s principle.
Geometry, materials, firmness, and assembly can be developed around the brand’s footwear category and manufacturing process.
SAM / pneumatic foundation
Pressure becomes a system response.
Contain air
The chamber holds air inside the cushioning structure.
Receive load
Foot strike compresses the midsole architecture during the gait cycle.
Distribute response
Contained air transmits pressure through the chamber, supporting broader load distribution.

Insole or midsole?
Built for co-development
Define the shoe. Then engineer the system.
SAM programs should begin with the target footwear category, last, stack height, material system, performance goals, production method, and validation plan.
